Monday Ewans FBDI
Vice PresidentMr. Monday Aluu Ewans is the former Director, Enterprise Development and Promotion at the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), the Federal Government Agency responsible for coordinating and facilitating the development of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sub-sector in Nigeria

Sadik Abdulkadir Rafindadi FBDI
President/Chairman of CouncilMr Sadiku Abdulkadir Rafindadi brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the table, with a distinguished career spanning both the public and private sectors. As the former Director of Commercial and Business Development at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), he spearheaded revenue generation efforts across all commercial airports in Nigeria, including the headquarters. Mr Rafindadi was instrumental in driving both aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenues to new heights.
Prior to his tenure at FAAN, he held management positions at renowned organisations such as British Petroleum (BP) and Brinks Incorporated. He then ventured into entrepreneurship, successfully establishing himself in real estate and car dealership in Atlanta, USA.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Clark Atlanta University. He is also a member of the International Airport Professional (IAP) community.

Olawale Tunde Fasanya FBDI
Deputy Vice-PresidentMr. Olawale Tunde FASANYA is the immediate past Director General of SMEDAN he was the Director, Planning Research Monitoring and Evaluation of Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).
Before attaining this current position, he was at various times, Special Assistant to Director-General; Assistant Director; Deputy Director; Ag. Director, Planning; Director, Strategic Planning, Policy and Coordination and Director Enterprise Development and Promotion of SMEDAN. Within the period June 2013 and September 2014 he was on secondment to the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) as Technical Assistant to the Executive Secretary and Acting General Manager, Nigeria Content Department.
As a pioneer staff of SMEDAN, Mr. FASANYA was involved in the design of programmes and formulation of the Agency’s Initial strategic Action Plan. He coordinated the formulation of the 1st National Policy on the Development of MSMEs in Nigeria. Mr. FASANYA also, recently represented Nigeria on the committee set-up to design the ECOWAS SMEs Strategy and Development Charter.
Before the establishment of SMEDAN, Mr. FASANYA worked as Special Assistant to the Hon. Minister of Solid Minerals (Feb. 2002-May 2003); Personal Assistant to Hon. Minister of State for Defence (Jan. 1999 – Feb. 2002); Chief Public Relations Officer, National Productivity Centre (1996 – 1999); Senior Productivity Officer, National Productivity Centre (1988 – 1996); and Deputy editor, Jator Publishing Company, Ibadan, (1986 – 1988) among others.
Mr .FASANYA holds a Masters in Public Administration from Lagos State University (1994); Bachelor of Arts, English and Literary Studies from University of Ife (1985); Advanced Certificate in Public Relations; Diploma in Market Oriented Small Business Development Services from the ILO Training Institute, Turin, Italy (2008) and a Certificate in Personal Leadership and Success in Management from Columbia Business School Executive Education, Columbia University, New York, USA (2014).
Mr. FASANYA hails from Olla, in Ejigbo Local Government of Osun State. He was born on 3rd June, 1962 and married with 3 children.
He is a member of various professional bodies including the International Council of Small Businesses (ICSB). He is also a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations.

Paul Ikele B.Sc, M.Sc, MBA, Ph.D, FBDI
Registrar/Chief Executive officerDr. Ikele is the Registrar/Chief Executive Officer and Secretary to Council, of the Institute. He is an expert in Corporate Strategy, Marketing Management, and Organizational Development and behavior.

Council MemberDr. Sue Ebeine is a veteran Business Development Professional, Client Relations, and Human Resources expert with over 20 years of hands-on experience at Megastar Technical and Construction Company Limited. He also serves as the Business Development Director at Quora Technicals Limited.

Former President/Chairman of CouncilHe is currently the Vice Chancellor of Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, Delta State by Delta State Government in April 2022, where he is making his developmental contributions for the the University sustainability. He was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Services) from February 2017 to April 2022. He was appointed Professor of Business Administration (Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management) on October 1, 2004
